Heaven On Earth

Jonathan tries to get Jason's dad Miki to get to know his son little bit better and forget that he has cancer. Jason's dad would much rather forget he has a son altogether.

A mentally handicapped teenager is homeless and living in a box with Thomas (the cat). On his birthday, he makes a wish to live with a loving and caring family. Mark and Jonathan show up to help make his wish a reality.

Vinny sets out to help his daughter make her ultimate dream come true. Vinny has his daughter make herself sound different so that she can become an actress, when in reality all she'd rather do is be herself.

Mark becomes deeply stricken with grief after believing he caused two tragedies involving young girls - one of them a victim of a car accident, the other trapped in a house fire - in a matter of hours. That, along with a litany of other complaints, prompts Mark to make a demand: That Jonathan erase everything that's happened and allow him to create his own vision of "Heaven on Earth."

While on their way to visit Mark’s friends, Jonathan lashes back at some bullies. Because of this, Jonathan gets recalled to heaven. When Mark finally reaches his friends he inadvertently slips out a bit of info that leads his friends to reveal to their eldest daughter that she was adopted. She then set out to find her birth mother, and in the twisted process finds out that her adopted mother is her birth mother.

Mark and Jonathan try to reunite a mother with her son who is now the Deputy Premier of the U.S.S.R. When he is told that his mom would like to see him he believes Jonathan is with the CIA and not an angel.

After Mark and Jonathan are assigned to protect the famous actress Linda Blackwell, Mark and the actress switch bodies to see how the other ones life is. Sam Quigley is an old friend of Mark’s who like Linda, but is to afraid to tell her. When Mark and Linda switch bodies, Sam begin to think that Linda is not really what he wants.

Jonathan helps a novelist and his son both find inspiration in writing their next books and connecting with each other again.

Jonathan and Mark have to try and help a team that can never seem to win a single game and give a former baseball star the glory he once knew some 40 years ago.

Mark runs over a girl and overwrought with guilt, he is approached by a man named Jabez Stone, who offers to let the girl live if Mark gives his boss, the Devil, his soul. Mark signs a contract thinking that it's a con or

Jonathan and Mark are assigned to help UFO watcher Harvey Milsap gain custody of his recently orphaned grandson Adam.

Jonathan assists a misguided angel who has been trying to get his wings for 200 years.

Everett Soloman is a Nazi death camp survivor, who talks about his experience. Jan Baltic is a neo-Nazi. He was having one of his gatherings wherein he says that the Holocaust was a hoax. And at this meeting is Everett’s son David, who calls Jan a liar. Then Cal one of Jan's people shoots David. He dies and when word reaches Everett, he has a heart attack. Jan and Cal are in Jan's basement gloating about what they did and planning their next move.

A new play about a man who dies and speaks to God opens. Jonathan is now a priest while Mark is the dresser for Fred Fusco, the actor who plays the lead. Fusco's a little morose. But after the plays first performance, he changes and he claims that God was in the audience. People think that he is just trying to generate some publicity for the play. Nevertheless it seems to work, the play is a smash.

Mark asks God to make Jonathan a cop for while. After 40 years Jonathan becomes human only to realize the harsh realities of being a policeman. Jonathan helps a police officer rid himself of his guilt after shooting a teenager while the teenager had an empty gun. When the police officer holds people hostage the father of the slain teenager tells why there were no bullets in the gun his son was carrying.

Jonathan helps a brainy but severely obese girl named Jenny gain self-esteem and deal with ridicule from her "friends." At one point, the snotty girls invite Jenny over to model a swimsuit, predictably leading to humiliation and the girl to gorge herself with doughnuts. Jonathan tells her the girls aren't her friends and helps her see that she has many other gifts people appreciate.

Jonathan and Mark go to work for a football team. Their mission is to help Alex, a player on the team, from taking pills. Dr. Hickey, the team doctor, uses with and supplies the pills for Alex, and unknowingly for his son. Alex finally admits that he has a problem and goes to seek help. At one of the support meetings Alex is surprised and happy to find the doctor and his son both there confronting their addictions and trying to get help.

Mark and Jonathan become counselors at a camp for children with cancer.

An overzealous TV reporter files a report on a home for teen-age mothers. The report threatens the very existence of the home. Also, a high school senior seeks advice from Jonathan on how to handle his future education, his angry father, and his pregnant girlfriend and unborn son.

A young blind woman is injured and her disfigured boyfriend (Julian) is accused of hurting her. Scotty, a paralyzed lawyer is under pressure to help Julian when he goes on trial.

Jonathan and Mark bring together a young blind woman with a disfigured artist who is referred to as a monster.

Jonathan runs into his old wife, but because of his new appearance and name, she does not recognize him. He goes to visit her and asks if Mark and him could stay a little while. She did not want to let them stay, but when Jonathan hints at things from their past together she agrees.

When Jonathan decides to ignore the boss's next assignment he decides to stop in Rose Beach. He finds a very ill bird that dies moments later due to water contamination. Jonathan decides to try to prove the point that pollution is bad to the community of Rose Beach. He dresses up as a birdman and carries dead birds to try and prove that Drake Technology, a company in the area, is slowly poisoning its own community.

A man's son has been MIA in Vietnam since 1968. When his remains are found, no one in his town comes to his funeral. He then tries to establish a scholarship in his son's name but the people, who don't want to be reminded of the war, don't want to be a part of it. Jonathan then invades their dreams and reminds them of how much his son has done for them, like the man whose place he took in the draft and he didn't have to, the son of the town banker whose life he saved, and so on.
