

Episode Details
Mark becomes deeply stricken with grief after believing he caused two tragedies involving young girls – one of them a victim of a car accident, the other trapped in a house fire – in a matter of hours. That, along with a litany of other complaints, prompts Mark to make a demand: That Jonathan erase everything that’s happened and allow him to create his own vision of “Heaven on Earth.”

The Secret

When Mark finally reaches his friends he inadvertently slips out a bit of info that leads his friends to reveal to their eldest daughter that she was adopted. She then set out to find her birth mother, and in the twisted process finds out that her adopted mother is her birth mother.

And at this meeting is Everett’s son David, who calls Jan a liar. Then Cal one of Jan's people shoots David. He dies and when word reaches Everett, he has a heart attack. Jan and Cal are in Jan's basement gloating about what they did and planning their next move.
The Smile In The Third Row
EpisodeA new play about a man who dies and speaks to God opens. Jonathan is now a priest while Mark is the dresser for Fred Fusco, the actor who plays the lead. Fusco's a little morose. But after the plays first performance, he changes and he claims that God was in the audience. People think that he is just trying to generate some publicity for the play. Nevertheless it seems to work, the play is a smash.
Bless The Boys In Blue
EpisodeMark asks God to make Jonathan a cop for while. After 40 years Jonathan becomes human only to realize the harsh realities of being a policeman. Jonathan helps a police officer rid himself of his guilt after shooting a teenager while the teenager had an empty gun. When the police officer holds people hostage the father of the slain teenager tells why there were no bullets in the gun his son was carrying.
Friends
EpisodeJonathan helps a brainy but severely obese girl named Jenny gain self-esteem and deal with ridicule from her "friends." At one point, the snotty girls invite Jenny over to model a swimsuit, predictably leading to humiliation and the girl to gorge herself with doughnuts. Jonathan tells her the girls aren't her friends and helps her see that she has many other gifts people appreciate.
The Good Doctor
EpisodeJonathan and Mark go to work for a football team. Their mission is to help Alex, a player on the team, from taking pills. Dr. Hickey, the team doctor, uses with and supplies the pills for Alex, and unknowingly for his son. Alex finally admits that he has a problem and goes to seek help. At one of the support meetings Alex is surprised and happy to find the doctor and his son both there confronting their addictions and trying to get help.

EpisodeWhen Jonathan decides to ignore the boss's next assignment he decides to stop in Rose Beach. He finds a very ill bird that dies moments later due to water contamination. Jonathan decides to try to prove the point that pollution is bad to the community of Rose Beach. He dresses up as a birdman and carries dead birds to try and prove that Drake Technology, a company in the area, is slowly poisoning its own community.
To Bind The Wounds
EpisodeA man's son has been MIA in Vietnam since 1968. When his remains are found, no one in his town comes to his funeral. He then tries to establish a scholarship in his son's name but the people, who don't want to be reminded of the war, don't want to be a part of it. Jonathan then invades their dreams and reminds them of how much his son has done for them, like the man whose place he took in the draft and he didn't have to, the son of the town banker whose life he saved, and so on.
