Episode 7: DIY Christmas Gift Wrapping Paper
We love gift wrapping and the ability to create one-of-a-kind wrapping paper. Ultimately, one of the best parts of a Christmas gift is the beautiful packaging which covers it. Signature packaging is a fun way to put a mark on your traditional way of gift wrapping — it is both beautiful and unexpected.
Having a cost-effective approach is always key to us as well. This gift wrapping DIY can be created with your kids. It is a very simple process. All that is needed is a small walk around the neighborhood: anything from pine needles to pinecones will set you on a path for a fun nature-stamped gift wrapping creation.
Step 1: Gather pine needles, pine cones, other natural elements that can be stamped.
Step 2: Gather paint and paper plates to pour paint onto.
Step 3: Pull out some butcher paper
Step 4: Press the side of the pinecone — or other natural elements — into the paint. Once the paint is on, blot the side onto the paper plate or paper towel to get rid of the excess. Then proceed to press down onto the butcher paper to leave a painted impression.
Step 5: Let dry.
Voila! You have a one-of-a-kind paper in which to wrap.
We hope you enjoyed this DIY and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
