Ciara turns to Amanda and Pastor Walter for guidance. Later, Wilson reveals something that helps Ciara come to a decision. Episode 201As the second season kicks off, Julie Bulloch makes a sudden, heartfelt decision that affects every member of the Ranch in dramatically different and surprising ways. Having found Ciara -- a 21-year-old single mom and fiancée to a beloved former Ranch kid – in dire circumstances, Julie unilaterally invites her and her three-year-old daughter Shania to live at the Ranch. The unexpected news unsettles husband Rusty, who is worried about having two more mouths to feed, and their daughter Amanda, who is angry at being shut out of a major family decision that affects her and her own three-year-old. Episode 203In this episode, The Bulloch family is hosting a charity event for the benefit of a young man, Deshawn, suffering from muscular dystrophy. They’re raising money and hope to donate a van equipped with a wheelchair lift to Deshawn’s family at the event. Meanwhile, Ciara is still struggling with all the decisions surrounding putting her baby up for adoption. She talks with Amanda and then goes to visit a local adoption agency to check out her options. She also talks to Wilson, who then revisits some questions of his own about adoption. Jordan has a very important football game coming up- it’s a must win with playoff implications. The pressure is on and, come game night, Jordan is feeling the heat. As the clock ticks down, Brodie puts the finishing touches on the van and the whole family heads to the charity event. All the hard work is worth it as they pull off an incredible surprise for Deshawn and his family.The episode culminates with an emotional meeting when Ciara and Amanda go to visit the potential adoptive parents at their home.

Episode 204Rusty prepares the family for the immanent birth by putting the family through “baby drills.” He wants to keep the household running smoothly amongst the chaos but he is also extremely busy and is having difficulty balancing family life, ferrier work, rental property work, and football. Will Rusty be able to handle all these responsibilities without being pushed to the edge? After all the baby talk, Amanda decides she’s ready to try and conceive again after multiple miscarriages. She and Steven head to a doctor to see if it’s possible and are faced with financial obstacles. Julie has a big photo-shoot at the beach on Saturday and needs Amanda to help her out. Rusty is left in charge of watching the kids while Ciara heads to an ultrasound. He’s short-handed and running out of patience. Rusty and the boys take a hunting trip to help with the stress but it may be too little too late. Amanda and Julie come up with a plan that may be just the thing to help out.

Episode 205The family is preparing for a wedding at the ranch and has a lot of work ahead of them. In between the meetings and preparations, Amanda is getting ready for Raylee’s first rodeo. Meanwhile, Ciara still struggles with her decision and questions whether she really wants to adopt or keep the baby. Jordan is training for his impending playoff game but also spending time at his grandfather’s garage preparing for an upcoming drag racing license test. Claude calls Rusty and needs help – maybe even a place to stay. Julie is stressing out about having this many people at the ranch and she’s also worried she’s getting. The family heads to Jordan’s game and Steven reveals some upsetting news. Wilson is still searching for his birth mom and takes an important meeting with a lawyer. As the episode ends the whole family needs to pull together in time for the wedding.

Episode 206The moment everyone has been waiting for has arrived: Ciara is having the baby! She heads to the hospital and is faced with one of the most difficult days in her life. It’s time to give up the baby to the adoptive parents and there’s nothing that could have prepared her. Meanwhile, Amanda is organizing a major charity event: a Family Fun Day to benefit hungry children in the county. She is determined to prove to her mom that she can handle it alone, but when she finds out the crowd will be more than double her expectations, she asks Julie for help.

Episode 207When Julie and Rusty get some rare time alone, they reflect on what’s been going on in their lives. It’s been a hectic and emotional few months. It’s been some time since Ciara gave her baby up for adoption, and she’s now ready to take the next steps in her life. Rusty has a chat with her about her plans, and she tells him she wants to go to school to pursue a career as a music producer. Rusty, Julie, Ciara and Shania travel to Jacksonville to visit Shawndell in his transitional facility, and also visit the recording school nearby. Julie later takes Wilson on a second visit to the lawyer to find out if he has any more information about Wilson’s birth-mother. They’re hopeful about what he’s found out. After helping out the kids individually, Julie and Rusty decide to organize a family picnic to give everyone a chance to blow off some steam and have some fun together. During the picnic, Wilson approaches Amanda, Steven, Brodie, Jordan and Ciara about doing something nice for Rusty and Julie as a thank you. The kids are all on board, and they get to work on a plan to pull off a surprise for the two people who have done so much for them all.
